Inside Higher Education is reporting that Stanford University will continue to fund its university press for a year after backlash following an announcement last week that the university would stop funding the press. Inside Higher Education reports: "The university has been giving the press $1.7 million a year, while the press brings in $5 million a year in book sales. Ending the support would effectively result in dozens of books not being published that would have been otherwise."
