Senator Wyden's Proposed Legislation Would Ban Donations as a College Admission Consideration

Yesterday, Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) released a bill that would ban donations as a consideration in college admission decisions. Inside Higher Education reports that the bill is intended "to respond to the issue of donors making large gifts to colleges just before or after their children apply for admissions."
