Higher Ed to Congress: We Need More Money

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, higher education associations in Washington, DC have been asking Congress for stimulus funding. Yesterday, the American Council on Education once again wrote to congressional leaders requesting "at least $97 billion in support to postsecondary students and institutions."


From Inside Higher Education: "The groups, including the American Council on Education, had asked for $120 billion in help for struggling institutions before Congress and then-president Trump approved a mammoth $2.3 trillion package in December. But having only received $23 billion, the groups are asking for the rest."
