A New York Community College Seeks to Expand Internationally

In an effort to boost enrollments, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) is seeking to offer classes to students outside the United States. Inside Higher Education reports that "unlike most community colleges that recruit international students to attend campuses in the United States, Hudson Valley, which is part of the State University of New York system, plans to bring its courses and faculty to countries where those potential students live." To put this plan into effect, HVCC is developing partnerships with companies in the Caribbean and Central America as well as other higher education institutions, both private and public.
